etwinning is my passion!Happy 4th of July, States' friends! Today we learnt Creation of Digital Contents and ICT Tools for the organization (curation) of digital contents In this session we were given ICT guidelines and tools to organize our favorite digital content with applications such as diigo, feedly, symbaloo, listly, etc. We were also given criteria for selecting internet information that may be of interest to our educational work. They also encouraged us to create a Personal Learning Network and keep us updated through social networks. During Design Thinking Session, we designed learning spaces that stimulate creativity. That part is which I liked most, because from my point of view, teachers must to promote atmospheres and enviromnents that stimulates learning. It could be like a play or a movie. The scenario, the soundtrack, and the effects are even more important than the script because they provoke feelings and emotions in the audience. With the suggestive Bart's quote "an app a day keep the burn-out away ", he encouraged us to go outside our comfort zone and create innovative educational contents with ICT. In every Design Thinking process there are several phases, which include identifying needs, designing learning spaces and elaborating prototypes that keeping up with 21st century society. We understand teaching as a whole, not just focusing on the transmission of content. Have a look on our day 2 video: fclsummeracademy.wordpress.com/2017/07/05/fcl-summer-academy-day-2/ Peer- learning with views!! Oficial course dinner .The day ended with a wonderful dinner in a restaurant on the 9th floor with breathtaking views of Brussels.
I honestly believe that an Europe without boundaries is possible. Borders and passports must be something from the past. In more than half a century of existence, the EU has delivered peace between its members and prosperity for its citizens. It has created a single European currency (the euro) and a borders- free "single- market" where goods, people and money move around freely. It has become one of the major trading power. The main aims of the EU are: To raise the quality of life for its citizens, through social development To improve the economic position of its citizens, companies and countries by economic co- operation To promote common foreign and security policies The countries (member states) that make EU remain independent nations, but they pool theis power in order to gain a strengh and world influence none of them could have on their own. And that it's exactly the reason why I believe with all my heart that: The job of the European Commission is to propose new regulations or rules for the EU and to make sure that EU laws are implemented. The EC seeks to uphold the interests of the Union as a whole. The rules and procedures that the institutions must follow are laid down in the agreements which the members states' presidents and prime ministers have accepted and have been agrred by their parlaments. In principle, it is the European Commission that proposes new EU laws, but it is the European Parlament and the Council of the EU that adops them. The majority of Spanish trade is done with other member states, so the goods we buy in our shops come from the EU. We also have freedom to travel freely and to live and work in any of the countries of the EU. many areas of our lives are covered by European laws, in particular such areas as business, agriculture, the environment, discrimination and civil liberties. All the member states' citizens not only have a enriching diversity but also share a common European culture and history background, which roots in ancient times. We all are a cultural comunity with a strong European identity. I'm very proud of being European. I really have that feeling of belonging. And that its exactly what I'm doing here, in Brussels. I'm taking part in a workshop about Creativity and Innovation in the classroom with other Spanish colleagues and other colleagues from other 8 countries in the Future Classroom Lab of the European Schoolnet Academy. A great privilege and a huge responsability because I'm here to spread the experience when I come back to Spain. We all together will be here for a few days sharing, learning and making Europe to grow as we're going to grow as creative teachers in the Future Classroom Lab . First thing in the afternoon. A warm welcoming with the traditional Belgium fries. The food in Brussels is really good: mussels, fries, soups, Belgium chocolate, Belgium beer, eco-food ...All Delicious!
